Part of what it means to be human today is to be conditioned and manipulated—constantly being pulled in one direction or another by forces outside ourselves. I’m interested in breaking this conditioning down; deconstructing it and letting it fall from our shoulders. This seems essential in building anything new, something less manipulated and more honest; a more ethical and intimate world. In my expressions I try and contribute to a public conversation that begins to articulate such a world, as well as contribute to a culture that can have affect and relevancy. For me, this is a social and political project that is at once processional, pedagogical, and communal.

I’m mostly a researcher who sometimes finds ways to make my thinking public. Like many people, I’m wading the waters grasping for an understanding of the world we live in and how to change it. I read, think, write a little, make zines, edit readers, and whatever else seems appropriate.
